Fillings
Tooth-coloured restorations that blend seamlessly with your natural smile.
Overview
When decay has damaged part of a tooth, a filling removes the affected area and rebuilds it with a tooth-coloured material – restoring strength and function without the dark metal look of older amalgam fillings.
What’s included
- Local anaesthetic so the procedure is comfortable
- Careful removal of decayed tissue
- A tooth-coloured composite restoration, shade-matched to your tooth
- A bite check before you leave
What to expect
Numbness typically wears off within a few hours. Mild sensitivity to hot or cold for a few days afterward is common and usually settles on its own – full aftercare guidance is on our post-op instructions page.
